While at my writers' monthly meeting yesterday, a long term member, brand new author asked my advice on promoting her book when it is released.
Her questions made me feel ashamed--that I'd not stuck out a hand and offered assistance before now.
As of now that will change.
Then I realized, why not reach out to all the other groups I belong to?
I put out 'the call' to new authors and have already received a nice response to FIRST TIMERS PRESENTS
I'll base each blog entry on the character interviews made popular by my pal Mallory Kane at her blog: www.WildWomanKane.blogspot.com. Plus, if the publisher is new to me, I'll ask the author to tell us all about it--gives the publisher a little free promo as well. Hey, you never know.

I was signed with Decadent Publishing a few months ago. My final edit was put in yesterday. I can not wait until I hear a release date. Once I do I will definitely be bugging you to pick me like the annoying know-it-all at the front of the class who thinks pushing up on her tip-toes with make her raised hand more noticeable.
